Objet : SAVE THE DATE Global Forest Summit

In 2021, the world’s forests are at a turning point. Although deforestation has decreased since 1990 according to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), it still continues to rage (10 M Km2/year).

As you may know, the Global Forest Summit, a Conference gathering Leaders of International Organizations, national and local Governments, Leaders from the private sector and NGOs, will be hosted on March 12th. Considering the future of Forests as central in the fight against climate change and willing to protect biodiversity and wildlife, Speakers will share their views and inputs to advocate for significant actions and measures as this year marks the start of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. The Global Forest Summit will act as the curator of a global conversation that is needed to spark concrete actions and mobilize cross-border throught leadership, collaboration and resources. It is still time to register: together, let’s put the future of Forests in the international Agenda for the next ten years.

The conference will take place live on March 12, 2021, from 9:00–19:00 CET for the opening panel, five roundtables and the closing panel led by experts and decision makers, such as:
