This is the first announcement of the upcoming IUFRO –Workshop  Division 7, Unit 7.02.04 on viruses and phytoplasma of forest and urban trees on 25th of August 2015

The workshop will be held within the XVIII. International Plant Protection Congress (IPPC) 2015, 24.08. - 27.08.2015 in the Henry Ford Building, Garystraße 35, 14195 Berlin,

Proposals for the workshop and abstract submission are invited by 1st April 2015.

 

 

Dear Colleagues and friends,

we invite you to take part in the 3rd meeting and workshop of Unit 7.02.04 on viruses and phytoplasma of forest and urban trees held in the evening of
25th of August, 19.00-22.00,  
Henry Ford Building, Garystraße 35, 14195 Berlin (www.fu-berlin.de)

The focus will be on all issues of virus and phytoplasma diseases of forest and urban trees. The topic of the meeting will bring innovative developments, methods and ideas, new viruses and risk assessment and management together.

 

Any presentation or comments on the following keywords are welcome:

·         monitoring, visual survey,

·         detection tools, detection steps,

·         known pathogens, unknown agents,

·         risk assessment and control

·         epidemiological and ecological evidence, pathogen transmission,

·         economic importance, seed quality, seedling quality, wood quality

·         certification of seeds and plants
