It’s now official! The Department of Tree-Microbe Interactions at
the INRAE Grand Est Nancy Centre is offering a research scientist
permanent position on the effect of microbiota on tree health.
This position will involve studying the role of tree microbiota in
interactions between trees and forest pathogenic fungi, with the
aim of contributing new knowledge on the emergence of forest
diseases. If you are passionate about tree health, microbial
community ecology and the study of plant microbiota, this position
should be of interest to you.
The Department of Tree-Microbe Interactions is a unit of around
100 people from INRAE and the University of Lorraine. It is a
dynamic unit committed to scientific topics with societal
implications. We have state-of-the-art equipment and international
partnerships. The unit is ideally located in Champenoux, near
Nancy, 1.5 hours from Paris by TGV train, close to the Vosges
Mountains, Alsace, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland.
