Dear IUFRO Division 6 Members,

It is my pleasure to share that I am serving as Co-Chair for the 2026 Canadian Urban Forest Conference (CUFC 2026), which will be held in Québec City, Québec, Canada, from October 13 to 16, 2026.

This 16th edition of the conference will focus on the critical role of urban forests in sustainable urban development and community resilience. We are pleased to announce that the Call for Proposals is now open (see attached).

Full details and submission guidelines are available on the CUFC website: CUFC 2026 - Home - Tree Canada
We encourage contributions from all areas of expertise: technical practice, research, policy, and governance. If your work touches on any aspect of urban forestry, we invite you to submit a presentation proposal.
Submission Deadline: February 28, 2026

Please note that the conference hosts are not in a position to offer assistance with visa applications or to issue any formal visa-support letters. We encourage prospective participants to review Canadian entry requirements early and ensure they make the necessary arrangements independently.

We look forward to receiving your proposals and hope to welcome many of you in Québec City in 2026.

Best,

Adrina
