Educators’ Forum webinar Feb 15, 2018

 

You are invited to join the second webinar of the Educator’s Forum. This forum was created to bring together forestry teachers around the world to share ideas on teaching practices, topical issues in forestry education along with  potential collaborations are highly welcome.

In the mist of climate change and all the pressure of forestry we need to recognize our role since we are educating our future forestry leaders. Your participation is extremely important and pertinent.

The Joint IUFRO-IFSA Task Force on Forest Education  is now to entering its second phase after the successful completion of the inaugural research project (see  Global Outlook on Forest Education (GOFE). As we move the GOFE to its second phase, one of the core aims is to make information on forestry education globally accessible. A first step toward this aim involves the creation of a network of forest-related educators facilitating the dissemination and sharing of best teaching practices.
