17th European Forum on Urban Forestry EFUF

Lausanne, Switzerland, June 3-7, 2014

 

From June 3rd to June 7th 2014 the 17th European Forum on Urban Forestry EFUF will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland. From the perspective of practitioners as well as researchers from different disciplinary backgrounds we will discuss new results, solutions and future strategies in connection with different aspects of urban forestry.

The conference theme is “Crossing Boundaries: Urban Forests – Green cities”.

 

Registration opens on August 15, 2013.

Call for abstracts closes on January 31, 2014.

Registration closes on April 30, 2014.

The “European Forum on Urban Forestry” (EFUF) is an annual event, providing a meeting place for practitioners, scientists and educators involved with the planning and management of urban forests and urban green infrastructures. The Forum is associated with the “International Union of Forest Research Organizations” (IUFRO) - Urban Forestry Research Group. Participants come from across Europe, as well as from other parts of the world. The forum exists since 1998 and meets yearly. The event is an important gathering of national and international urban forestry expertise providing an opportunity for practitioners, researchers and policy makers to share experience and good practice. In 2014 the conference will be held in Switzerland.
