Please note the deadline for submitting abstracts for 2017 IUFRO All-Division 5 (Forest Products) Conference is  November 15, 2016 which is only 1-2 days away!!

The 2017 IUFRO All-Division 5 (Forest Products) Forest Sector Innovations for a Greener Future Conference will be held in Vancouver, BC, Canada on 12-16 June 2017. The Conference is jointly organized by IUFRO Division 5 and the Faculty of Forestry at the University of British Columbia, FPInnovations, and the Society of Wood Science and Technology (http://www.iufrodiv5-2017.ca).

We are hosting TWO technical sessions on  Wood Protection: “Strategies to Combat the Dearth of Wood Protection Related to the Sustainable Use of Wood in the Tropics” and "Recent Developments in Wood Protection Research relevant to Climate Change Mitigation by Conferring Long-term Carbon Storage in Wood" ( http://www.iufrodiv5-2017.ca/submissions/technical-special-sessions/). You will find the synopsis of these sessions in the conference site at http://www.iufrodiv5-2017.ca/submissions/technical-special-sessions/ Both these sessions are co-organized with The International research Group o Wood Protection (www.irg-wp.com)
