Dear Division 4 and Division 9 members,

The CALL FOR ABSTRACTS for the IUFRO Conference “Adaptive Management for Forested Landscapes in Transformation“, October 1-5, Posadas, Misiones, Argentina, is now OPEN:

The deadline is April 30th.

This conference will highlight accelerated changes imprinted in our planet within the Anthropocene. We welcome presentations and posters targeting forest changes and landscape transformation as a consequence of increasing pressures of globalization, population growth, resource scarcity and ecological degradation -the BIG challenges ahead. 

Operational solutions and state of the art methods are at the centre of the conference.

Within the framework of this Conference we will focus on key topics to assess problems but also to find solutions towards a better future in forested landscapes.
