*Francis Hallé (University of Montpellier, France): Tree architecture and tropical forest structure.

*David J. Harding (NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, USA): The evolution of NASA airborne and spaceflight lidars for measurement of forest structure and the Earth's surface: the past, present and future.

*Benoît St-Onge (UQAM, Canada): Lidar and photogrammetric point clouds for describing forest canopies: competing or synergistic technologies?

*Enrico Paringit (University of the Philippines, Diliman, Philippines): The national LIDAR mapping program in the Philippines: early applications and latest developments focussing on forest applications.

“Estimation, inference, and uncertainty” chaired by Dr. R. McRoberts (USDA Forest Service, USA)

"Biodiversity” chaired by Pr. R. Hill (Bournemouth University, UK)

"Technological and processing advances for the use of TLS” co-chaired by Pr. C. Schaff (University of Massachusetts Boston, USA) and Dr. S. Kaasalainen (Finnish Geospatial Research Institute, Finland)

1 special session "Forest structural and biophysical properties from TLS" co-chaired by Pr. R. Fournier (University of Sherbrooke) and Pr. M. Danson (University of Salford, UK)

11 additional parallel sessions are planned and about 40 posters will be displayed during the three days with specific poster sessions to exchange with authors.

Some plenary talks are also dedicated to all attendees of the Geospatial Week 2015 at the beginning of each day.
