Dear colleagues,

I am looking for a smart young scholar to join my research group as a PhD student working on questions from the field of forest economics.

We offer the successful candidate a 4-year scholarship to pursue excellent research at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in close collaboration with Natural Resources Canada – Canadian Forest Service (NRCan-CFS). The project offers the unique opportunity to work on a large-scale research project with other project partners, such as Université Laval and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Details are attached.

Deadline for applications is January 2nd 2018.

Kindly forward the invitation for applications to suitable candidates, as well as colleagues who might not be on this mailing list.

Thank you and best wishes

Dr Verena C Griess
