Dear Division 4 members,
The website for the All Division 4 Conference in Göttingen, Germany, is live: https://tiny.utk.edu/IUFRO-Div4-Conference! The conference is scheduled for May 24-27, 2027, with workshops and registration scheduled for the afternoon of 24 May, scientific meetings on the 25th and 26th, and two field trip options on the 27th. More details are available on the website.
The conference, Beyond Stability: Forest Assessment Modelling and Management for an Uncertain Future, has seven broad themes for presentations.
We are still working on some aspects of the conference (registration fee, meals, etc.) but the abstract submission form is ready for submission. The deadline for abstract submission is October 1, 2026.
We have made it possible for individuals or groups to organize a session. This can be done by the session organizer providing Bogdan Strimbu (bogdan.strimbu@oregonstate.edu) with their name, email, and session title. Those submitting abstracts can then indicate the session name and session organizer in the on-line abstract submission form. Organizing a session for this upcoming meeting may be a great opportunity for working parties to do an activity and involve junior scientists.
