Thanks for information. It is a very sad news which we got too late. Prof. Zaide was well known forest growth researchers and his death has left a great void in the field of forestry research. I have gone through many of his publications which enhanced my knowlledge in understanding forest growth and dynamics.

It came to my knowledge that Boris Zeide, whom is well known from most of us, passed away last March. The enclosed text, prepared by Teresa Fonseca (that worked with him during a sabbatical in North Portugal), me and Harold Burkhart, has the intention to honor his work in and for IUFRO Division IV.
