IUFRO Working Party 4.01.07 “Tree Growth, Mortality, and Remote Sensing” is pleased to invite you to the webinar:

“Advances in assessing Tree growth and mortality using LiDAR and Satellite remote sensing”

by Dr. Nicholas Coops, professor at the University of British Columbia, Canada, on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025, 8:00-9:00AM Pacific Daily Time (PDT, UTC/GMT-7). Please follow the link at the end of this message for conversion to your time zone.

Although this is a challenging task, assessing forest stand dynamics from remotely sensed data is critical for guiding management practices. In his talk, Dr. Coops will address recent advances in this field with a special focus on tree growth and mortality. He will provide real-world examples of how growth and mortality can be predicted and mapped using different sources of remotely sensed data.

To attend this event, please visit the webpage Webinar: Advances in Assessing Tree Growth and Mortality Using LiDAR and Satellite Remote Sensing - English.
Please note that the webinar will be recorded.
