Dear Members of IUFRO Division 3,

IUFRO has announced Call for Nominations for members of the Voting Board 2024-2029.  It is time for us to nominate candidates for our next Division Coordinators who, if elected, will also serve on the IUFRO Voting Board.  During the last term, Division 3 developed and implemented a transparent and democratic procedure for Division Coordinator nomination.  We would like to keep the similar procedure while accommodating recent changes in the IUFRO Statues and Internal Regulations.  According to the new IUFRO Statues, each Division will be led by a team of two Division Co-Coordinators starting the next term (2024-2029).  Accordingly, Division 3 Officeholders have collectively modified our nomination procedure, and I am delighted to share it with you today (please see attached).

Please consider nominating a team of two Co-Coordinator candidates as the next leaders of Division 3.  Please send your nomination package to me (woodam.chung@oregonstate.edu) by September 15, 2022.  Details on nomination procedure and requirements can be found in the attached documents.

Thanks to you all, Division 3 continues to be recognized for its strength, unity and innovations as one of the most active divisions within IUFRO.  Let’s take this momentum forward and beyond with new leaders and new ideas.  We look forward to receiving your nominations for our next Co-Coordinators.  Thank you.
