Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to contribute your research work (research or review article) to the upcoming June 21 issue of the European Journal of Forest Engineering (EJFE).
EJFE is a semi-annual peer-reviewed, open access, research journal published by the “Forest Engineering and Technologies (FETEC)” platform. FETEC is a non-profit technical association founded in 2012 to strengthen cooperation and improve communication among scientists and researchers in the field of forest engineering and technologies.
European Journal of Forest Engineering is a peer-reviewed open-access journal, which publishes high scientific level research articles and subject reviews exclusively in English. EJFE aims to report existing practices and innovations presented by scientists and professionals in the field of forest engineering, to encourage communication between academic/research institutions and industry, and to bridge the gap between researchers and decision-makers.
EJFE is indexed in TR Index which was developed in accordance with international standards to enable researchers to access national and scientific content electronically. EJFE is indexed in much open access international scientific journal database (Publons, ResearchBib, JournalTOCs, SJIFactor, CrossREf, Google etc.)
Also, EJFE is referenced as a scientific journal by IUFO Div 3.01.00 – Harvesting and Transportation Engineering.
The journal promotes the latest scientific findings, empirical and theoretical researches in the following areas;
· Forest transportation
· Wood supply chain and transportation logistics
· Forest harvesting
· Forest operations and technologies
· Forestry mechanization
· Forest road design
· Forest road construction and maintenance
· Forest road infrastructures and their assessment
· Forest utilization and planning
· Operations planning
· Small-scale forest operations
· Forest biomass harvesting, estimation, and utilization
· Harvesting non-wood forest products
· Sustainable forest management studies
· Best management practices to protect soil and water resources
· Engineering applications in watersheds
· Terramechanics in forestry
· Engineering economy, cost estimation
· Ergonomics and the human factor in forestry
