Dear IUFRO Colleagues;

The 20th IUFRO Tree Biotech and the 2nd FTMB (Forest Tree Molecular Biology and Biotechnology) Conference will be held from July 6th to 9th, 2022 in Harbin, China, co-sponsored by the Northeast Forestry University, China and the North Carolina State University, USA. The Conference will be a hybrid one, with speakers and participants outside of China attending virtually and with speakers and participants in China attending in person at the conference site in Harbin, China. The conference will be focused on Forestry and Climate Change: Genomics, epigenomics, and biotechnology prospects

The topics include:

Forestry and Climate Change (Plant-microbiome interactions, Insect-fungus symbioses, Fungal diseases);

Genomes and Epigenomes (Genome and epigenome editing for plant/tree traits, Genetic and epigenetic regulations of biotic and abiotic stress, Whole genome resequencing);

Wood Biology, Physiology, Development and Uses (Molecular biology and physiology of wood formation, Modification of wood properties for utilization and carbon sequestration, Development, differentiation, and stem cell biology, The evolution of woody plants);

Genomic Variation in Breeding and Genetic Studies (Genomic selection in breeding, GWAS and trait dissection, Candidate gene/pathway validation);

and Regulations and Biosafety of GMOs (GMOs, Regulations, and Market Access via Certification).

We warmly invite you to take part in this unique Conference. All details will be included on the Conference’s official website, http://www.treebiotech2022.com/
