2013 Abdou-Salam Ouédraogo fellowship call now open

Photo credit: Barbara Vinceti/Bioversity The call for the 2013 Abdou-Salam Ouedraogo fellowship for research on forest genetic resources is now open. The focus of this year’s call is on: 1. Understanding status of, and threats to genetic resources of priority forest tree species; 2. Methods for conservation and sustainable management of genetic resources of important tree species. The fellowship offers an amount up to US$ 10,000. Young scientists from countries in Sub-Saharan Africa are invited to apply before 15 July 2013.
