We are delighted to send this update regarding the IUFRO Tree Biotechnology Conference 2027!

The premier biennial meeting will be held from the 25th to the 30th of April 2027 at the Protea Hotel and Conference Centre near Stellenbosch, South Africa. It is also important to note that the online registrations and abstract submissions are currently open. The first newsletter for this meeting is attached, which provides more information and includes a sneak peek at the main plenary speaker!

•     Early bird registrations close on the 22nd of January 2027

This conference is co-hosted by Stellenbosch University and the University of Pretoria and is the biennial meeting of the IUFRO Working Party 2.04.06 (Molecular biology of forest trees).

As a mid-week excursion, we plan to take the conference group to see the stunning sights, visit a few local wine farms, and explore the Cape Winelands before settling in for a lovely evening of dining and celebrations.

We are excited to welcome you to Stellenbosch in April 2027, and we encourage you to submit abstracts and register!
