Forest Regeneration in Changing Environments

 

 


Papers are being accepted for the international conference on Forest Regeneration in Changing Environments that will be held July 11-13th, 2017 in Corvallis, Oregon, USA. The abstract submission system will be open until February 5th- just a few more days. Submit your abstract today!

 

Papers are welcome on all topics related to forest regeneration around the world. Of special interest are papers related to the changes and challenges (environmental, ecological, technological, economic, and social) associated with the successful regeneration and management of young forests.  

 

Topics of interest include:

  • Vegetation management and invasive plants
  • Seedling health (insects and disease)
  • Tree improvement and genetics
  • Seedling production, quality, and physiology
  • Precision silviculture and intensive forest management
  • Forest economic and policy influences on regeneration
  • Modeling forest regeneration and young stand dynamics

 

Graduate student participation is highly encouraged!   

 

Proceedings from this conference will be published in the journal New Forests.

 

Abstracts will be accepted until February 5th. Authors will be notified of acceptance by March 1st. Multiple submissions by the same author are welcome. Monthly reminders will follow this announcement.

 

Registration will open in the Spring!
