On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to invite you to the International Scientific Forum: Rehabilitation and Restoration of Degraded Forests, to be held 8-12 June 2015 in Astana, Kazakhstan, hosted by the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University and Kastamonu University. This event is sponsored by IUFRO RG 1.06.00, Restoration of Degraded Lands. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 1 May 2015; abstracts may be submitted now. The aim of the Forum is to increase political and public awareness about on forest degradation and desertification.
