FINAL DEADLINE: February 19th

 

 

 

 

Papers are STILL being accepted (until February 19th) for the international conference on Forest Regeneration in Changing Environments that will be held July 11-13th, 2017 in Corvallis, Oregon, USA

 

Remember, we are accepting submissions for both oral and poster presentations.

 

Submit your abstracts by February 19th!!

 

Papers are welcome on all topics related to forest regeneration around the world. Of special interest are papers related to the changes and challenges (environmental, ecological, technological, economic, and social) associated with the successful regeneration and management of young forests.  

 

Topics of interest include:

  • Vegetation management and invasive plants
  • Seedling health (insects and disease)
  • Tree improvement and genetics
  • Seedling production, quality, and physiology
  • Precision silviculture and intensive forest management
  • Forest economic and policy influences on regeneration
  • Modeling forest regeneration and young stand dynamics

 

Graduate student participation is highly encouraged!   

 

Proceedings from this conference will be published in the journal New Forests.

 

Abstract submissions will close on February 19th. Authors will be notified of acceptance by March 6th. Multiple submissions by the same author are welcome. 

 

Registration Opens: April 3rd, 2017
