Asia Pacific Resources International Limited (APRIL) is looking for a full time R&D Plantation Management Program Head to be stationed in Pangkalan Kerinci, Riau Province, Indonesia. This is a permanent position, in the same level as a Manager.

Hence, in the effort of realizing their vision, finding highly qualified candidates to strengthen their R&D team is a must.
This position will work at the interface between research and practical applications, with a primary role in formulating, organizing and monitoring inter-connected programs, especially in relation to pulpwood silvicultures. Incumbent shall decide suitable strategies, evaluate program outcomes, develop and control deadlines and its budget, and assume the responsibility of the program success. As a program head, incumbent should be able to manage the research staffs and technicians, supervise their works while also developing them.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have a minimum of Master degree in forestry, plant sciences, agronomy or other related field of expertise. Ideally, candidates have at least 3 to 5 years of solid research working experience in managerial role for silvicultures and soil sciences. The willingness to work in both office and the field as necessary with multi-cultural people is essential for this role. Familiarity with pulpwood plants or pulp and paper industry will be an added value for the candidates.
