<div>We advertise postgraduate scholarships and post doc positions as
part of a strategic initiative to</div>
<div>strengthen research collaboration between the research groups in
Insect Chemical Ecology at</div>
<div>Lund University and the Swedish University of Agricultural
Sciences at Alnarp (The Linnéus</div>
<div>initiative ICE-3). The two research groups, currently comprising
more than 50 scientists,</div>
<div>students and technicians, form a strong cross-disciplinary
environment including research on</div>
<div>ecology and evolutionary biology, neurobiology, physiology,
molecular biology and genomics,</div>
<div>as well as more applied aspects including pest control and
conservation biology.</div>

<div>Four postgraduate scholarships (deadline for application May 15th
or 21st, 2008,</div>
<div>depending on position):</div>

<div><b>- Thrips chemical ecology</b></div>
<div><b>- Evolution of novel pheromones</b></div>
<div><b>- Pheromone strains, host plant races and speciation</b></div>
<div><b>- Chemical pollination ecology</b></div>

<div>Three post doc positions (will be filled when suitable candidates
are found):</div>

<div><b>- Chemical ecology of bed bugs</b></div>
<div><b>- Molecular analysis of moth pheromone production</b></div>
