This list is intended to provide a forum where scientists can discuss issues relating to IUFRO Research Group 5.01.00 – Wood quality.

The wood quality Research Group is home to a variety of interests that encompass studies of the formation of wood as well as studies on the end use requirements of wood. All, however, have a common goal of understanding the fundamental properties of an important biological material, how the environment and other factors influence these properties, how these properties may be influenced by a changing wood resource, and how these properties influence the utilization of the material.
